Need help finding treatment or recovery options for addiction?
Call or text our Tennessee REDLINE, a 24/7 hotline that connects
Tennessee residents with addiction treatment and recovery services
including free or state-funded options.
The Tennessee REDLINE is a toll-free information and referral line
coordinated by TAADAS
and funded by the
Tennessee Department of Mental Health Substance Abuse Services.
The REDLINE staff members:
- recognize that callers are struggling for answers and provide information in a compassionate manner;
- share accurate, up-to-date information on alcohol, drug, problem gambling, and other addictions;
- research and provide referrals for Tennesseans seeking help for these conditions as well as co-occurring mental health challenges;
- strive to provide three referrals when possible that are specifically based on the caller's stated needs.
REDLINE staff members do not provide therapy or counseling.
They do, however, offer to connect callers with a professional who is qualified to provide a diagnosis, prognosis, or assessment of their mental or physical condition.
What treatment programs are offered to callers?
The agencies to which we refer people are not limited to TAADAS members, state-funded programs, or any specific area of the state. We encourage providers to submit an application to be included in the REDLINE database.
To apply, contact the Clearinghouse Coordinator at 615-780-5901 extension 110 or download the PDF form at the bottom of the page.
