Moving Beyond Change Efforts- Evidence and Action to Support and Affirm LGBTQI+ Youth

All sections of this report are relevant to these professionals. Those primarily engaged in practice and treatment might focus on Section 2, which summarizes current research with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and intersex youth and other sexual- and gender diverse children and youth(LGBTQI+ youth). It describes evidence-based approaches to support and affirm LGBTQI+ children and youth. Section 3 includes an overview of laws that impact treatment and makes recommendations for targeted training and expanding treatment access.
