Integrating Behavioral Health Services Within Specialty Practices Serving Pediatric Populations

In an effort to improve the low treatment rates for children with behavioral health conditions, it is a priority for SAMHSA to support the integration of behavioral health (BH) services into treatment settings where children are already accessing care. While much of the current literature focuses on the integration of BH into primary care settings, this paper focuses specifically on the provision of BH services in specialty pediatric care settings.
