TAADAS' Annual Legislative Breakfast
For 2017 the Tennessee Association of Alcohol, Drug and Other Addiction Services (TAADAS) and Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations (TAMHO) asked for $14 million to provide statewide funding to assist communities across Tennessee with addressing opioid use, prescription drug abuse, NAS births, generational substance abuse, and the emerging use of heroin and synthetic drugs. Thanks to governor Haslam and the legislature Tennessee added millions of dollars to the budget for these issues. Find the most current details about our 2018 plans on our advocacy page.
