TAADAS' Annual Legislative Breakfast
For 2017 the Tennessee Association of Alcohol, Drug and Other Addiction Services (TAADAS) and Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations (TAMHO) asked for $14 million to provide statewide funding to assist communities across Tennessee with addressing opioid use, prescription drug abuse, NAS births, generational substance abuse, and the emerging use of heroin and synthetic drugs. TAADAS' next Annual Recovery Month Dinner will be September 2018, please take a moment to calendar this event if you have not already done so. We have an exciting evening planned beginning with hors d'oeuvers and dinner, followed by entertainment and awards. We will honor several leaders in the recovery field for CEO of the Year, Lifetime Acievment, and Volunteer of the Year, as well as present our Voice of Recovery Award to two key legislators, judges or other policy maker in Tennessee. We do hope that you'll find time in your busy schedule to join us for this worthwhile cause, celebrating Tennessee's Champions for Recovery.
